Cameron Kashani, MBA, CFP®
Financial Advisor
As an Andrean alumnus, Cameron attended Indiana University Bloomington. During his time there, he found himself drawn to finance because of the opportunities for learning and growth. The more he studied, the more he realized that so much of the world’s events are driven by or directly impact the financial realm. In 2007, Cameron completed a B.S. in public finance. While at college, Cameron interned for two consecutive summers in investment research and finance at State Street Research (now part of BlackRock) and New England Financial in Boston, Massachusetts.
Through his education and internship experiences, Cameron began to understand the challenges of the financial industry and how they impacted individuals and families. The challenge was so compelling that Cameron sought out a career helping people navigate the choices they face regarding their financial security and prosperity.
Cameron joined his father at MetLife as a junior financial representative while studying for his MBA at Stuart School of Business at Illinois School of Technology in Chicago. After obtaining a work visa, he joined a private equity firm in Vancouver, Canada, as part of the management team. After that, Cameron rejoined his father’s practice to continue his family’s value-oriented business. He currently holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations. In 2021, Cameron earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification.
Cameron now spends his leisure time golfing with his wife, Katia, daughters, Amelia and Anna, and friends, and traveling.
